Premier League preview : Arsenal vs Manchester City

koclokindoblog, 5 April 2012,
All eyes in Manchester will be focused on the Emirates Stadium when Manchester City travels to Arsenal on Sunday.
Manchester United are five points clear of second-placed City on top of the Premier League table and go into their home game against Queens Park Rangers on Sunday as odds-on favourites.
With one English bookmaker already paying out on United to win a record 20th league title, City must win in London to realistically keep their trophy hopes alive.
The result is just as important for the Gunners, who are third on the table and equal on points with local rivals Tottenham Hotspur.
Only a goal difference of one separates the London neighbours and a Champions League group stage berth with seven games remaining.
Arsenal will head into the City fixture full of confidence despite their seven-game winning streak coming to an end away to QPR last week.
The Gunners have won their last six matches at the Emirates and scored 23 goals in the process, while City have taken maximum points in just two of their last nine Premier League away fixtures.
"I think that we can deal with pressure when it is thrown upon our shoulders," Arsenal forward Theo Walcott told Arsenal.com.
"We had a lot of injuries, things weren't going our way and Tottenham were 10 points ahead.
"But we dealt with that, we continued playing our football and completely turned it around."
City striker Sergio Aguero could make a welcome return from injury having missed the draws against Stoke City and Sunderland.0
The Argentine quashed rumours surrounding the nature of his injury, which City manager Roberto Mancini said was 'stupid'.
"This is a simple injury and not a plot of intrigue," Aguero said on his official website sergopaguero.com.
"During the match against Chelsea, I injured my ankle and it was sprayed with a topical anaesthetic that caused a burn on the upper part of my right foot.
"The injury worsened after a few days and when boils appeared I was told I wouldn't play against Stoke and then against Sunderland."
