Suarez keen to commit future to Liverpool

Liverpool striker Luis Suarez has revealed the club want to extend his contract, despite having four years left to run on his current deal.
The Uruguayan signed for the Reds from Ajax for a transfer fee of 22.7 million pounds in January last year and says Liverpool have made it clear they want him to stay for the long term.
It has been a tough season for Suarez, who was banned for eight matches for being found guilty of racially abusing Manchester United's Patrice Evra in a Premier League tie back in November, and then refused to shake the defender's hand when they met again in February.
Despite everything that has happened to him, the 25-year-old has made it clear he sees his long-term future at Anfield, and revealed the support he has from manager Kenny Dalglish is an important factor for him.
"I would like to stay," he told Montevideo daily El Pais.
"Despite everything that happened, I'm happy here, on and off the pitch ... and at the club they're happy with me and want me to stay."
"I have a contract until 2016 and they already want to renew it for me. The coach still believes in me and that's very important, especially after having been out for eight matches."
Suarez also revealed his disappointment at being found guilty in the trial against him, as he felt there was no definitive evidence that proved he had said anything racist towards Evra.
"What hurts me is that I was at the trial and there was no concrete proof," he said.
"It was simply my word against that of the other player and they believed him. That hurt me a lot."
