Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho has stated his frustration with the referee's performance in his side's 1-1 draw against Malaga on Sunday.
Santi Cazorla's sensational free-kick earned the visitors a draw, in a rare slip-up by Madrid, although Mourinho claimed that the home side had been denied two obvious penalties.
"I won't criticise the referee but he should have given us two enormous penalties," Mourinho said.
"It's all part of the Liga though."
"I have no reason to be critical."
"It is normal to draw or lose every now and then."
Real Madrid currently hold an eight-point lead over Barcelona on the La Liga table, meaning the draw may not be so damaging to the La Liga leaders.
Mourinho was still happy with his players despite the result.
"I'd have had reasons to be critical if it was the result of a poor attitude, but that's not the case," Mourinho said.
"We got plenty of chances to score."
Real Madrid's players have received plenty of praise for wearing shirts prior to the game with messages supporting Bolton midfielder Fabrice Muamba and Barcelona defender Eric Abidal in their struggles with serious health issues.
Barcelona revealed on Thursday that Abidal, who fought off the effects of a liver tumour in 2011 to return in time to play in the Champions League final, will have to go under the knife in the next few weeks for a liver transplant.
Meanwhile, 23-year-old Muamba collapsed during Bolton's FA Cup game against Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday, and currently lies in hospital in a critical condition following a cardiac arrest.
Players from French club Lille wore similar shirts before their match with Valenciennes on Sunday, with the message 'Courage Abi' for Abidal, a former player at the club.
